The 29th Annual Gala & Auction is an important fundraiser for The Freshwater Trust. By attending the event and bidding high and often, you are helping the freshwater ecosystems upon which we all depend.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, 1/4 of Oregon’s rivers are unable to fully support aquatic life and another 44 percent are threatened. Our freshwater resources are vitally important for industry, agriculture and recreation. They are essential to our economy and our quality of life. The importance of freshwater combined with its scarcity – streams, lakes and rivers account for just 0.3 percent of global freshwater – means the stakes are high.

Each year, we complete more than 100 watershed project and preserve more than 100 million gallons of water per day in flow-limited watersheds. This is not possible without your help. But we want to do more – so come to the event, bid on both silent and live auction items, and make sure to raise your paddle for a 100% tax-deductible cash contribution.

Your donation means healthier rivers and streams for us all.
